Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a Welfare Assistant to join the Early Years team on a temporary basis. The role supports pupils' welfare, personal care where required, and helps create a safe, inclusive environment. You will work under the EYFS teaching team to promote well-being and positive learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, and able to build relationships with children, staff, and parents, demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times.

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Welfare Assistant to join our Early Years team on a temporary basis, with the position subject to review.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the EYFS teaching team to support the welfare, care and wellbeing of our youngest pupils. The role involves assisting with the personal, social and physical needs of children, supporting positive play and learning experiences, and helping to ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.
