Job summary

Heartwood Collection is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its premium hospitality sites, delivering outstanding guest experiences and strong commercial performance.

You will manage on-site teams with a hands-on approach, develop managers and ensure consistency with brand standards while building strong community relationships and driving profitability across KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a premium pub/restaurant/hospitality business.
• Passion for fresh food, quality drinks and memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to coach and develop managers and their teams.
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, KPIs and profitability.
• Hands-on leadership style and the confidence to lead from the floor.
• Excellent operational and organisational skills, with a focus on quality and consistency.
• Ability to build community connections and lasting guest relationships.
• Track record of delivering results within a branded or multi-site hospitality environment.

About You

You’re a natural hospitality leader who combines a genuine love of people and service with the commercial confidence to run a successful business.

You’ll bring:

• Proven leadership experience within a successful premium pub, restaurant or hospitality business
• A genuine passion for fresh food, quality drinks and memorable guest experiences
• The ability to inspire, coach and develop managers and their teams
• Strong commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, KPIs and profitability
• A hands‑on leadership style and the confidence to lead from the floor
• Excellent operational and organisational skills, with an uncompromising focus on quality and consistency
• The ability to build strong community connections and lasting guest relationships
• A track record of delivering results within a branded or multi-site hospitality environment
