Job summary

Munchies is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead the next chapter after winning multiple awards. You’ll oversee shifts, drive performance, and ensure every customer experiences the brand’s signature service.

• Step up and run the store solo when needed — opening, closing, cash handling, full accountability.
• Handle customer feedback calmly, fairly and fast — living the Munchies way, especially under pressure.

Job description

Munchies started with one store in Darnall, Sheffield, back in 2017 — big flavour, bigger personality, and a serious smash burger. We’ve since grew to six stores, and we’re nowhere near done. In 2024, we were crowned Best Takeaway in Britain — and Best Takeaway in Yorkshire — at the Just Eat Restaurant Awards, official proof that what we’re building here is something special. Now we’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help lead the next chapter.

The Role

• * As Assistant Manager, you’ll support your General Manager in running a tight, high-energy shift — leading the crew, hitting the numbers, and making sure every customer gets that award-winning Munchies experience, every single time.

Day to day, you’ll:
