Job summary

Munchies began with one store in Darnall, Sheffield in 2017 and has grown to six stores, earning Best Takeaway in Britain and Best Takeaway in Yorkshire at the 2024 Just Eat Restaurant Awards. We’re now hiring an Assistant Manager to help lead the next chapter and deliver the award‑winning Munchies experience to every customer.

You’ll support the General Manager, run high‑energy shifts on floor and in the kitchen, coach the crew and drive key metrics while upholding our strict standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/assistant manager role in fast‑paced hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to develop into a General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift on floor and in the kitchen, maintaining speed, accuracy and energy.
• Coach and develop the crew, turning new starters into future Assistant Managers.
• Support the General Manager with labour, waste, speed of service and sales metrics.
• Maintain stock, deliveries, food hygiene and Health & Safety every shift.
• Open/close the store, manage cash handling and full accountability.
• Respond to customer feedback promptly and professionally.
