Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd is hiring a Catering Assistant for the Upminster site (RM13). The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 2:30pm, term-time only. You will prepare food, serve customers, and help with inventory while maintaining high standards of presentation and service.

We welcome motivated individuals who can communicate clearly in English. Full training is provided; experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or catering is helpful, but training is provided.
• Clear spoken English required for customer interactions.
• Willingness to work part-time and term-time only.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and assist with serving and cleaning.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and hygiene.

What you will be doing

• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
