Job summary

Energy Assets is seeking an experienced Gas Metering Engineer (Low & Medium Pressure) to join our Gas Operations team in the South East. You will work in a field-based capacity delivering metering services across industrial and commercial sites, representing Energy Assets professionally at all times.

Your responsibilities include installation, maintenance and surveys of gas meters, compliance with safety policies, and contributing to emergency response duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Installation, exchange, removal and maintenance of industrial and commercial gas meters (rotary & turbine installations).
• Planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Conducting site surveys and providing feedback to customers and stakeholders.
• Participation in the national emergency response team.
• Accurate completion of documentation including risk assessments and method statements.
• Personal stock management and effective time management.
• Protecting the public, customer assets and company property at all times.
• You will be accountable for your own safety and that of others, working strictly in line with industry codes of practice and internal policies.

Working in a field-based capacity, you will safely and efficiently deliver metering services across industrial and commercial sites. As one of our expert Metering Engineers, you will represent Energy Assets professionally at all times, ensuring we meet client, business and industry expectations.
