Job summary

Sasse Limited is seeking a Technical Cleaning Operative for remote working arrangements with a 40-hour contract, Monday to Friday. The role involves deep cleaning, biohazard and crime scene cleaning, and floor maintenance across multiple sites. Overtime may be required on nights or weekends.

Applicants should have a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to travel. A valid UK driving license (B) is essential. Training will be provided, and company van is supplied for work.

Qualifications

• Driving license (category B) is desirable and essential for travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning, biohazard and crime scene cleaning, window and high-level cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across sites to meet health and safety standards.
• Operate floor care machinery and maintain floors, carpets, and upholstery.
• Communicate professionally with clients and site staff.
• Be flexible with shifts and respond to overtime as required.

The Role

As a Technical Cleaning Operative, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across various locations by performing specialist and cleaning tasks. This includes deep cleaning, biohazard and crime scene cleaning, window and high-level cleaning, and floor maintenance to meet company and client requirements. The role contributes to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for clients and the public while adhering to health and safety regulations

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining hard surface floors, carpets, and upholstery.
• Operating floor care machinery (buffers, scrubbers, etc.).
• Deep cleaning washrooms, windows, and high surfaces.
• Graffiti and exterior cladding cleaning.
• Adhering to Health & Safety protocols and proper equipment use.
• Professional interaction with clients and site staff.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must be willing to have the Level 2 Police Clearance, which will be paid for by the company.
• Valid driver’s license (category B) and a willingness to travel is essential to this role.
