Net Zero Careers Accelerator (NZCA) is seeking a Domestic Energy Assessor for field-based work across Portsmouth, Southampton and Chichester. You will conduct EPCs and stock condition surveys, collect accurate property data and maintain high standards of reporting and compliance.

Candidates should hold a Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment, possess a full clean driving licence and be DBS checked or willing to obtain one.

Role Overview

We are recruiting for

Domestic Energy Assessors to support residential energy assessment and stock condition survey work across

Portsmouth, Southampton and Chichester

This is a full-time, permanent field-based role carrying out EPCs and stock condition surveys across residential properties. The role involves visiting homes, collecting accurate property data, engaging professionally with residents and clients, and ensuring all work meets quality and compliance standards.

The areas of work are:

• Portsmouth
• Southampton

Applicants should ideally be based within approximately one hour of one or more of these locations, as regular travel between residential properties will be required.

The employer is looking for motivated, organised and professional candidates with a strong focus on customer service, accuracy and attention to detail.

Important Eligibility Information

Applicants must:

• Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment
• Hold a full clean driving licence
• Be DBS checked or willing to complete a DBS check

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy Assessment
• Full clean driving licence

• Ideally based within approximately one hour of one or more of the areas of work
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Confident using MS Office and electronic data systems
• Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
• Friendly, professional and proactive attitude
• Level 3 or 4 Award in Retrofit Assessment is desirable
• Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency Measures for Older and Traditional Buildings is desirable
