Job summary

BelleVie Care in Ponteland seeks a Female Support Worker for part-time domiciliary care, helping clients live well at home. You will work in the Ponteland area with flexible early/mid shifts and receive full training.

We offer Real Living Wage pay (£14.19 per hour for direct time, £12.71 per hour for other time), mileage, and comprehensive training. You must live within 5–10 miles of Ponteland and hold a valid UK driving licence; visa sponsorship is not provided.

We’re seeking extra special Care Workers to support people to live well at home! This is a Domiciliary Home Care Support role for our Ponteland team.

• Up to £14.19 per hour + 45p/mile mileage

Requirements of the Role

We welcome people with no previous care experience, FULL training will be provided. But you should have compassion, respect and a desire to support people in your community!

Car & valid driving licence

Location: We recruit colleagues local to our teams, to support their local communities, so we can't accommodate relocation. Please ensure that you live within approximately 5-10 miles of our Ponteland team.

Shift Times: 5 hour blocks (mornings shifts are approx 8am-1pm & evening shifts approx 4pm-9pm) it means that you can find a healthy work-life balance. You must be available to work on alternate weekends, as well as weekdays!

What kind of things would I be doing?

Light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, helping clients take medication, personal care (supporting someone to get dressed, toileted, washing and bathing), assisting clients to attend medical appointments, day centres, appointments and social activities.
