Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting locum Consultant Psychiatrists in Old Age Psychiatry for UK-wide opportunities. Start ASAP with flexible short- or long-term placements.

Candidates should have MBBS or equivalent, full GMC registration, and CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or eligibility. DBS/PVG checks are required or willing to undergo them as part of registration. UK Right to Work is essential.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with full GMC registration.
• CCT in Old Age Psychiatry or eligibility for consultant level practice.
• Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility).
• DBS/PVG check or willingness to undergo one as part of registration.
• Experience in adult mental health settings in the UK.
• UK Right to Work.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level Old Age Psychiatry assessments and care.
• Cover locum assignments across the UK with flexible durations.
• Collaborate with NHS trusts and maintain registration compliance.

What We're Looking For

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility)
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• Experience in adult mental health settings
