Job summary

Corner Park Garage in Peacehaven is seeking a skilled, reliable mechanic to join our busy workshop team, handling everything from routine servicing to major repairs.

Hours are 40 per week with overtime at peak times. Pay starts from £31,200 a year (£15.00 an hour), plus bonuses for specialist jobs such as engine rebuilds and wet belt replacements. Also included: workplace pension and free on-site parking.

Typical tasks:

• Engine rebuilds and major mechanical repairs
• Timing chain and timing belt replacements
• Brake work — discs, pads and callipers
• Oil changes and routine servicing
• Diagnostics and fault-finding
• General vehicle maintenance and repairs across a range of makes and models

Hours: 40 hours a week, with some overtime available at peak times.
