Job summary

Retail & Asset Solutions are hiring a Retail Minibus Driver to join our Paisley team. You will oversee transport for a small team of stock counters to and from each shift across various retail sites, with driving time paid.

This role requires a full driving licence, the ability to work unsociable hours, and the use of a handheld scanner to count stock quickly and accurately. Immediate start and generous holiday pay are offered.

Qualifications

• This role requires working unsociable hours including early mornings or night shifts.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• A Full Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region.
• Travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis; some locations provide minibus transport.
• Notify count team of pick-up points and timings for each shift.
• Escalate vehicle issues promptly and efficiently.
• Complete a team attendance sheet with attendance and bus arrival times on site.
• Count stock quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Stand for long periods; use of equipment may be needed to reach high stock.

Retail Minibus Driver - Paisley - £14.29 p/hr*+ Driving time

Salary: £14.29 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.75 per hour + £1.54 holiday pay)

(8-10hour stock count shifts + your driving time paid)

The Role

• We are looking for

Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team.

• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of

25 years.

• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
