Job summary

Mencap in Nottingham is seeking a committed Support Worker to join our team. You will help adults with learning disabilities with daily activities and provide emotional support in a caring, person-centred way. The role requires flexibility to cover mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with a variety of shifts across the week.

Calling all Support Workers within the surrounding areas of Chilwell.

As a Support Worker flexibility is key as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts. You should have the ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays and shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleep ins. Your flexibility is therefore essential for us to be able to meet the needs of the people we support.

A driver is preferred for this role but not essential.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
