Job summary

Solo Service Group is recruiting a Cleaning Operative for Newent Library, GL18 1AS. The role is permanent, based at Newent Library, and DBS clearance is required. Training will be provided and you will be part of a team delivering high standards of cleanliness.

You will perform cleaning tasks across areas including toilets and common spaces, and you’ll be expected to follow safety procedures while delivering courteous service to library users.

• Reliable and diligent, with ability to follow training and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning toilets, rooms and other areas as required.
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.

Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a permanent basis at Newent Library, High St, Newent, GL18 1AS

A DBS is required for this role.

We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team, we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.

Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning, toilets, rooms and other areas as required You will also:
