Job summary

The Best Connection Mansfield is seeking Warehouse Operatives to support a client site in Newark, delivering waste management, hygiene solutions and distribution services. You will safely handle waste, pick and dispatch orders, and help maintain a clean, organised warehouse and yard area.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. A forklift license is an advantage; previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and sort waste materials according to standards.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately.
• Load and unload vehicles using manual handling techniques and forklift (if licensed).
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and yard areas.
• Complete relevant paperwork and digital records for stock and waste movements.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory control.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Working hours and pay rate

• The role is Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
• The pay rate is £12.71 per hour.

Successful candidates will ideally need to have previous experience in a warehouse environment.
