Job summary

St Philip's Care is seeking a Deputy Manager for Ditton Priors Care Centre. The role involves leading a care team and supporting the Care Home Manager to deliver high-quality care and a positive resident experience.

You will communicate professionally with families and visitors, ensure confidentiality, and drive improvements in service delivery. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards it is required.

Qualifications

• Senior or team-leading experience in care settings.
• NVQ or QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or working towards).
• Deputy Manager experience or substantial senior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a staff team to support the Care Home Manager.
• Deliver quality care by continually assessing residents' needs and developing services.
• Represent the home professionally with visitors, families and external stakeholders.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will have proven senior experience, be able to lead and manage a team of staff to support the Care Home Manager.

You will be responsible for the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our resident's needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance quality of life.

Positively influence the reputation of the home - communicating professionally and warmly with visitors including family, friends, and other external stakeholders.

NVQ or QCF Level 3 Health and Social or working towards.

Deputy Manager or extensive experience as a senior or team leader

• Excellent ability to build lasting relationships


• Ability to act sensitively and confidentially


• Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative is essential.
