Job summary

Musselburgh-based Funeral Operative role supporting around-the-clock funeral operations, with duties across branches as required. The post primarily serves Musselburgh and involves travel to other branches as needed.

Responsibilities include driving and assisting on funerals, coffin preparation to a very high standard, care of the deceased, collection from the place of death, and ensuring paperwork transfer between sites. You will join a 24-hour call-out rota and participate in ongoing training.

Job description

The Funeral Operative plays a critical role in the funeral operations which includes participating on the 24 hour call out rota. They will primarily be based in Musselburgh but will also include working in other branches.
