South Oxfordshire Estate in Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated junior gardener/trainee to join our team on a permanent live-out basis. You will work outdoors across diverse horticultural settings, learning from experienced staff and contributing to ongoing garden development.

PERMANENT LIVE-OUT JUNIOR GARDENER/TRAINEE GARDENER - SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE

About the Estate:

The property sits within the South Downs, at the heart of a beautiful 2000 acre shooting estate in South Oxfordshire. The formative grounds were laid out by a leading Landscape Architect practice 20 years ago and continue to be developed and enhanced. The gardens form a central part of this ongoing evolution, offering exposure to a truly diverse and rich horticultural environment

• A hard-working, enthusiastic gardener who is eager to launch their career and grow with us
• Passion for plants: Either newly qualified in horticulture or possessing a strong natural aptitude and love for plants and gardens
• Work Ethic: A hard-working, reliable, and trustworthy individual with excellent time-keeping skills
• Resilience: A genuine love for working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Team Spirit: A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a happy, collaborative team environment
• Technical readiness: Ability and wiliness to learn how to operate a range of hand-held, pedestrian, and ride-on horticultural equipment
