Job summary

Creative Support is looking for a Support Worker for our Floating Support Service in Middlesbrough. We assist people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs in their own homes or in the community, including domestic tasks, emotional support, and social inclusion.

The service covers the Middlesbrough area with a 5-mile radius and supports over 30 service users, expanding as needed. We are a non-profit provider dedicated to person-centred support across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support people with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs within their own home or in the community
• Assist with domestic tasks and home maintenance
• Provide emotional support, promote social inclusion and independence
• Assist with financial management including paying household bills
• Support with shopping and cooking

Job description

We are recruiting a Support Worker for our Floating Support Service in Middlesbrough. Here, we support people with a learning disability and/or mental health needs within their own home or out in the community. This may include support with domestic tasks and home maintenance, emotional support, social inclusion, financial management with paying household bills, shopping and cooking. The floating support service spans throughout the Middlesbrough area with a radius of 5 miles. We currently support over 30 service users, with the hope of expanding.

Creative Support is a non-profit provider of person-centred support for people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities and other support needs.
