Job summary

Mencap in Lowestoft is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team. As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals with learning disabilities with daily activities and provide emotional support.

You will build meaningful relationships, communicate effectively, and adapt to a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. A DBS check is required, and we offer a benefits package and 24 days paid holiday.

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Lowestoft.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

What we're looking for:

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options:

• Part-time: flexible hours based on availability

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

Shift times:

• Days: Between 07:00-22:00
• There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20
