Job summary

Highland Council is seeking a Community Works Operative 4 (LGV) at Lochcarron Roads Depot to carry out road maintenance and related activities to high standards in line with health and safety.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, with salary scales HC03 or HC04 depending on LGV qualification. Training may be provided for suitable candidates. Applications welcomed from a diverse community.

Qualifications

• Possession of LGV driving licence (C and C+E) is required or training may be provided for other suitable attributes.

Responsibilities

• Assist Roads and Community Works in providing road maintenance to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
• Support the team at Lochcarron Roads Depot on a permanent basis.
• Work 37 hours per week in a permanent role.
