Job summary

The Highland Council is seeking a Community Works Operative 4 (LGV) based in Dornoch. The role involves carrying out road and winter maintenance duties and operating LGV vehicles such as snow ploughs and gritting vehicles.

Applicants should have LGV licences (Cat C and CE) and experience in road maintenance; there may be training to gain LGV if not already held. Permanent contract, 37 hours per week.

Purpose:

Participate in all aspects of Roads and Winter Maintenance and when required providing cover for Street Sweeping, Grounds Maintenance, Burials and Refuse Collection.

Requirements
