Job summary

GI Group Main Account, on behalf of Royal Mail, is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Lewes for a seasonal role ending Christmas Eve. Shifts are 1300-2000, with a rate of £18.20 per hour including holiday pay. You will deliver letters and parcels and be a friendly face in the community.

You will need a Full UK Manual Driving Licence (≤6 penalty points), be physically fit, enjoy outdoor work, and provide excellent customer service. No criminal record is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (no more than 6 points) and held for at least 12 months.
• Physically fit and able to walk outdoor routes in all weather.
• Great customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Punctual, organized and self-motivated.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare mail and parcels for your route.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and/or using a Royal Mail vehicle.

What We Are Looking For
