Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust in Leeds is seeking a Casual School Cleaner with flexible hours to join our cleaning team across one of our Leeds academies. No experience or qualifications are required, as full training is provided.

You will work within a supportive team to keep classrooms, offices and washrooms clean, safe and welcoming for pupils. Roles are zero-hours and as-and-when-needed to cover staff absences or busy periods.

Location: we have academies in postcodes LS9, LS10, LS13, LS14, LS16 and LS20. Please note: You will be assigned to work in just ONE of these academies unless you are able to work in others.

Contract Details: This is a casual, zero hours contract. As a relief cleaner, you will be called upon to work on an "as-and-when-needed" basis to cover staff absences, holidays, or extra busy periods. This is a highly flexible role perfect for someone looking for occasional work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working as part of a friendly team, you will keep classrooms, offices and washrooms fresh and tidy.

Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.

Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels) fully stocked.

Using cleaning equipment and products safely (we will teach you all the Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines).

Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure.
