Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited are sourcing an experienced Welder for their Leeds team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on steel framed fire doors, interpret drawings, and ensure timely completion to high quality standards.

The role demands MIG/TIG welding skills, the ability to read technical manuals and drawings, and a commitment to safe working practices within a small, established team in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication and welding.

Responsibilities

• Preparing steel framed doors including Mig welding, TIG welding, metal drilling, tapping, cutting and assembling our client's full range of fire doors in line with test evidence and system fabrication manual.
• Working to program deadlines.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and system manuals for parts to be fabricated / welded.
• Quality checking own work.
• Keeping accurate records of all work undertaken.
• Ensuring that any work undertaken is completed in a safe manner and that equipment is left in a safe condition.
• Maintaining condition of tools and equipment.

They are looking for an experienced Welder to join their small but well-established Leeds team on a permanent basis. This role will help ensure the smooth running of projects to ensure they continuously exceed customer's expectations.

Main Duties Will Include:
