Tesco Leatherhead is seeking a friendly Colleague for the Phone Shop to deliver great customer service and help customers choose mobile products and services. You’ll assist with phone and contract setups and handle a range of tech queries as part of a supportive store team.

Your role focuses on building rapport with customers, working across the Phone Shop and broader team, and contributing to sales and service excellence. Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented approach are valued.

Tesco Phone Shop Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25.Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers


• Providing flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services, completing phone and contract setups, and supporting customers with a range of tech queries.


• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines


• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance

You will need

• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.


• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop.


• The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup.


• A positive, teamâ€́-focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.
