Kids Planet Day Nurseries Training Academy is recruiting an experienced Tutor/Assessor with solid Early Years experience to deliver Apprenticeship standards up to level 5 and CPD training across the UK. The role involves travel to settings, delivering face-to-face and online tutorials, observation, and portfolio development.

Ideal candidates will hold an assessor award (D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA) or be willing to work towards it, with Level 3/4 teaching qualifications and a strong Early Years

Qualifications

• Assessor awards (D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA) or willingness to work towards.
• Teaching qualification Level 3/4 in Education and Training or equivalent desirable.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners across Early Years trainees working towards Apprenticeships up to Level 3 (ideally Level 5).
• Deliver face-to-face, online group and 1:1 tutorials at settings.
• Observe learners in their setting to collect evidence for Apprenticeships.
• Plan initial assessments and reviews; manage portfolio development.
• Deliver and assess Functional Skills (Maths/English/ICT) up to Level 2.
• Design and deliver CPD courses for internal staff.
• Liaise with nursery managers/mentors to maximise evidence collection.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organise and maintain learner progress documentation.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.

With the ongoing successful growth of Kids Planet Day Nurseries Training Academy, we are pleased to announce we are looking to recruit an experienced & qualified Tutor/Assessor with solid occupational experience within the Early Years sector to deliver Apprenticeship standards up to level 5 including Functional Skills up to level 2 and CPD training primarily. We have various roles across the United Kingdom. Our head office is based in Knutsford, and occasional travel will be required for training and meetings. (Expenses paid)

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Assess and support learners across early years employers working towards Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare up to level 3 (and ideally Level 5). This will include delivering face to face, online group and 1:1 tutorials at selected settings
• Observing learners in their setting to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship
• Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners - Creating learner portfolios on one file to agreed standards
• Delivery and assessment of pertinent functional skills
• Design and delivery of CPD courses to internal staff
• Close liaison with nursery managers/mentors to maximise efficient collection of evidence
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.

The ideal applicant will possess:

• A recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA. (or willing to work towards)
• Recognised teaching qualification: e.g. Level 3/4 Certificate in Education and Training or equivalent (desirable)
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in early years
• Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Early Years Childcare levels 2/3 and ideally level 5
• Experience of delivering Functional Skills (Maths / English/ICT) up to level 2.
• Hold solid occupational competency within Early Years - It would also be an advantage if candidates hold experience of Team Leading, Management and QA /IV award
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
