Sovereign Transport Services (STS), the logistics arm of Victorian Plumbing, is recruiting experienced Class 1 (Cat C+E) Night Drivers to join our Kirkby transport hub. Expect a stable Monday-to-Friday night trunking role with modern fleet and straightforward duties.

You will perform night trunking, depot-to-depot deliveries, and pre-trip safety checks, with no weekend work. We offer on-site parking, a company pension, and guaranteed weekly hours.

Qualifikationen

• Valid UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven experience with flatbed securing/strapping.
• Night shift capability with a safety-first approach.

The Job:

• Performing night trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries across regional routes
• Conducting standard pre-trip vehicle safety checks
• Managing flatbed loads, ensuring all items are correctly strapped and secured
• No multi-drop store hassle or heavy manual handballing

What You Need:

• Valid UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) Licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Proven experience with flatbed securing/strapping
• Reliable, safety-first attitude with strong night-shift capability.

*The company will offer at least one driver CPC (Certificate of professional competence) training course per year, to assist keeping their driver CPC qualification and driver qualification card up to date. However, drivers are responsible for monitoring their own CPC training hours and expiry of their driver qualification card to ensure that they remain legally qualified for their driving duties.

Where the company has booked or offered suitable CPC course and the driver is unable or unwilling to attend on the dates provided, the driver will be responsible for arranging and funding an alternative course themselves.

The £25 bonus is paid on a no infringement, no unpaid leave and conduct basis.
