Salutem Care and Education is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Alderbury Bungalow to provide person-centred care in a warm, village setting. You will assist with personal care, promote independence, encourage community involvement, and follow care plans with team support.
Training is provided; prior care experience helps but is not required. Applicants should be compassionate, reliable and team-focused, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
At Alderbury Bungalow, we support five individuals in their home with 24-hour care, 7 days a week. Our team provides person-centred support with day-to-day living—everything from personal care to helping people enjoy life in the community, such as coffee trips, shopping, local walks and weekly activities.
Set in a quiet part of Alderbury village, Alderbury Bungalow is a warm, supportive environment where the people we support have individual and sometimes complex needs. We’re looking for kind, patient and reliable Support Workers who bring compassion, empathy and respect to every interaction—and who genuinely want to make a difference.
A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential, as there is public transport available six days a week.
At Salutem, we are committed to putting the people we support at the heart of everything we do. We expect all colleagues to work in line with our values—showing respect, compassion, integrity and teamwork every day.
We are also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the people we support. All roles are subject to safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and the right to work in the UK.
As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.
Salutem Care and Education is dedicated to protecting and promoting the well-being of children, young adults, and vulnerable individuals. As part of our safer recruitment process, the successful candidate will be required to complete thorough pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS and, where applicable, overseas criminal record checks.
