Job summary

Fawkes & Reece is seeking a site Groundworker to support civil engineering projects. You will perform general groundworks, lay foundations, kerbs, slabs and tactile paving, and install drainage on site.

Ideal candidates will have prior groundworks experience, hold a CSCS Card, and work well within a team while adhering to health and safety requirements under the site manager's direction.

A well established regional contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.

The role:

As the site Groundworker you will be responsible for

• General Groundworks
• Laying Foundations
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles
• Internal and External Drainage

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a groundworks position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a Groundworker position
• You will have a CSCS Card.
• Strong work ethic in a team
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
