A Pharmacy Technician Apprentice supports pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team in providing safe and effective care to patients. The role involves preparing and dispensing medicines, maintaining accurate records, ordering and managing stock, and providing advice to patients within the scope of the role. As an apprentice, you combine practical workplace experience with formal study to develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours required to become a qualified pharmacy technician. The role also involves following legal and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality, and working effectively as part of a healthcare team.
40 Hrs per week. Monday to Friday 9am -6pm closed for lunch 12-1pm everyday. Closed weekends
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
Pharmacy Technician (Integrated) Level 3
