Job summary

Paramount Personnel is seeking a skilled Commercial Light Goods Vehicle Technician to join a Newton Abbot workshop. You will undertake comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation, with accurate fault diagnosis to support warranty claims.

This on-site role is temporary with potential to become permanent for the right person, and offers a salary between £28,500 and £42,000 depending on experience. Proud to be part of a Disability Confident employer scheme.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification preferred
• HGV Licence desirable for the role
• Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive and preventative maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation.
• Accurate fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms.
• Maximising your productive time to ensure all KPI's are achieved.
• Completing job cards and service sheets in a timely manner.
• Be able to work on own initiative.
• Carry out all work & repairs in a safe & timely manner exceeding DVLA standards.
• Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair.
