  • Has high expectations of all learners.
  • Is resilient, reflective and emotionally intelligent.
  • Can adapt teaching to meet a wide range of individual needs.
  • Can deliver engaging, practical and project-based learning.
  • Is committed to developing vocational and employability opportunities.
  • Understands the importance of health and safety in practical learning.
  • Is creative and willing to develop new curriculum opportunities.
  • Can work effectively as part of a highly supportive team.
  • Is committed to trauma-informed and relational practice.

In return, we can offer:

  • A permanent, full-time teaching position within a growing specialist SEMH school.
  • A supportive and committed staff team.
  • A school with a clear sense of purpose and direction.
  • A strong commitment to trauma-informed and relational practice.

  • A personalised and innovative approach to education.
  • Professional development and opportunities for career progression.
  • A school that values relationships, teamwork and staff wellbeing.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Oak Haven School at an important stage in our development and to play a significant role in expanding our practical and vocational curriculum.

We are looking for someone who is passionate, ambitious, resilient, practical and relational, and who wants to be part of a school that is committed to changing the life chances of young people.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.
