Job summary

Supporting Care Barking and Dagenham is seeking a caring female Domiciliary Care Worker to provide person-centred care for a female client in her own home in the Camden area.

Domiciliary Care Worker (female) Camden, London

Supporting Care Barking and Dagenham is looking for a caring and reliable female Domiciliary Care Worker to provide person-centred care to a female client in her own home in the Camden area.

The role involves providing personal care and support with daily living, including washing, dressing, toileting, continence care, mobility, meals, medication where trained, companionship and maintaining the client's dignity and independence.

This is a community-based role. The successful applicant must be able to travel to the client's home in Camden. Please note that travel time and travel expenses between home and the client's location are not paid.

Female applicants only due to the intimate personal care required by the client. This is intended to be a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Previous care experience is desirable, but suitable applicants may be considered for training. An appropriate DBS check, references and right-to-work checks will be required.
