Job summary

Day to Day Care is looking for kind, reliable Homecare Workers to join our team in Bromley and Orpington. You’ll visit people in their own homes, helping them stay independent and comfortable with tasks from personal care to light housework, and providing companionship.

We offer full training before you start, ongoing development, and a path to Senior Homecare Worker. Flexible hours and supportive 24/7 care team accompany a competitive hourly pay schedule.

Job description

Day to Day Care is a local, CQC-registered home care provider. We've been supporting people across Bromley and Orpington since 2003, and we're looking for kind, reliable Homecare Workers to join our team.

About the role

You’ll visit people in their own homes and help them stay independent and comfortable. Depending on the person, that can include:

• help with getting up, washing, dressing and going to bed
• preparing meals and drinks
• helping with medication and mobility
• light household tasks
• company and conversation, which often matters most

We give you a round in one neighbourhood, so travel between visits is short and you get to know your regular clients.

Pay

• £13.24 an hour on weekdays, 7am to 7pm
• £15.88 an hour on weekday evenings and weekend days
• £19.06 an hour on weekend evenings, 7pm to 10pm
• Higher rates on public holidays, Christmas and New Year
