Job summary

Lincoln City Family Assessment and Support Team in Lincoln is seeking an experienced Social Worker to manage a varied caseload across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care, with involvement in private and public law proceedings.

Based in Lincoln, the team is co-located with Family Help, Futures4Me and Family Time colleagues. Hybrid working is available, with 5 on duty weeks and 2/3 days on site at other times.

Responsibilities

• Complete high-quality Child and Family Assessments.
• Develop effective plans with families and partner agencies.
• Review and evaluate progress against plans.
• Demonstrate strong risk assessment and risk management skills.
• Support children and families to step down to universal services where appropriate, or escalate when needed.
