Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Forklift Counterbalance Driver for a client in Grantham, in their Goods in department. Temporary position with potential to become permanent.

You will load/unload lorries, operate a forklift counterbalance, handle goods inwards/outwards and move stock, while maintaining strict health and safety standards. Hours are 6am to 6pm, 4 on 4 off, day shifts, with benefits listed by the client.

Qualifications

• Experience operating FLT Counterbalance in a goods-in/out environment.
• Able to load/unload Lorries and move stock safely.
• Adherence to health and safety procedures at all times.

• Load and unload goods from trucks.
• Operate forklift counterbalance and move stock around the goods-in area.
• Carry out goods inwards/outwards and assist with stock movement as required.
• Maintain high health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We require a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Grantham in their Goods in department for a Temporary with the potential to become Permanent.

As Forklift Counterbalance Driver you will be:

• Loading and unloading Lorries,
• Using forklift counterbalance mostly but will be required to hop off also,
• Goods inwards / outwards and moving stock,
• Manually moving product and adhering to full health and safety at all times.

For this role you can have an in house / lapsed licence but must have experience of operating FLT Counterbalance and be available ASAP to work in Goods In.

This role of Forklift Counterbalance Driver would suit anyone from Goods in / out environment, yard and fast paced production environment.

Hours are 6am – 6pm 4on 4 off always a day’s shift.
