Job summary

McCormick & Company in Glasgow is seeking a Field Support Merchandiser to manage relationships with major supermarkets and ensure best-in-class in-store execution. The role requires 40 hours per week, Mon–Fri, with some travel and occasional overnight stays.

A company van is provided for personal use, plus a fuel card and a tax-free £520 annual allowance. The successful candidate will handle stock delivery, inventory control, and maintain accurate store records to support availability and plan

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or field sales is preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage store contact relationships with major supermarkets (e.g., Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons).
• Use technology to maintain product availability and record in-store execution.
• Collect and deliver stock to stores daily to ensure 100% shelf availability and plan compliance.
• Maintain store records including inventory and stock levels.
• Support other brands in the McCormick family as needed.

Salary: £27,840 + Company Van - vehicle can be used for personal use, Fuel card provided with claimable rate in line with pump costs

Tax-free expense allowance: £520pa in addition to salary

Type of contract: Permanent

Schwartz is currently looking for a full-time Field Support Merchandiser to cover Glasgow area.

Working 40-hrs each week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Saturday and Sunday rest days) this role allows for some flexibility, especially with start time. No Sunday work scheduled, only required at Christmas and double time is then paid. Some staying away from home is a requirement of this role.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and manage store contact relationships within the major supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons.
• Use technology to maintain availability and record great execution in store.
• Collect and deliver stock to stores each day to ensure 100% availability of product on shelf and compliance to store plans.
• Take full responsibility for maintaining store records including inventory.
• Support when required other brands in the McCormick family.
