Job summary

Ansa Care Ltd is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care in our supported living services in Fontwell. You will help individuals develop independence, confidence and quality of life, while upholding privacy and dignity for female service users in line with our policies.

The role offers full induction, ongoing training, and opportunities to gain Health & Social Care qualifications, with a supportive team and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support work is preferred but not essential.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake training and professional development.
• Commitment to promoting independence and dignity.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Must be willing to undertake a DBS check.

• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs
• Supporting service users with daily living activities and personal care where required
• Supporting with medication in line with care plans and policies
• Preparing meals and encouraging healthy eating and hydration
• Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities
• Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support
• Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to develop life skills
• Building positive and respectful relationships with service users, families and colleagues
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
• Working collaboratively with the wider care and management team
