Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Room Leader for a warm nursery in a converted building with a garden that inspires exploration and play.

The role focuses on leading the pre-school room, delivering play-based learning in line with EYFS, and supporting children’s confidence, independence and transitions to school. DBS checks and right-to-work verification apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-school room and ensure high-quality care and education.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities in line with EYFS.
• Support children’s development, independence and school readiness.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Monitor and track children’s progress.
• Support and guide team members within the room.

Up to £32,800 per annum | 40 hours per week | All Year Round

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Room Leader to lead a pre-school room, supporting children as they develop confidence, independence, and key skills for their transition to school. The setting promotes curiosity and creativity through a play-based approach to learning.
