You have significant experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role and enjoy working alongside operational teams, providing practical, solutions-focused advice that helps people work safely and confidently.
You'll have a sound understanding of current health and safety legislation and experience working within the utilities, water, civil engineering or wider infrastructure sector, where you'll be comfortable engaging with site teams and challenging unsafe behaviours in a positive and constructive way.
You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build credibility at all levels, influencing and supporting colleagues while maintaining a collaborative approach to improving health and safety performance.
You'll be proactive, organised and confident managing your own workload, with the ability to prioritise site visits, investigations and improvement initiatives across a busy operational environment.
A NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) is essential, together with Tech IOSH membership or working towards Graduate IOSH.
A full UK driving licence is essential due to the site-based nature of the role.
