Travail Employment Group is recruiting for an experienced Technical & Quality Manager in Evesham. The role covers BRC Storage & Distribution, quality management, audits and continuous improvement across the site.

You will own the technical and compliance function and work closely with Sales, Warehouse and production teams to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Strong background in technical, quality or compliance within food packaging, manufacturing, storage or distribution.
• Experience with BRC Storage & Distribution is essential.
• Proven ability to manage audits, QA/QMS and HACCP processes.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of the technical and compliance function across the business.
• Ensure BRC Storage & Distribution compliance and audit readiness.
• Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems and internal auditing.
• Lead the HACCP team and investigate customer complaints and technical queries.
• Support supplier and customer compliance requirements.
• Maintain site procedures, records, schedules and compliance documentation.
• Oversee forklift licensing, pest control and inspections to keep the site safe and compliant.
• Provide practical technical support to Sales, Warehouse and Box Erection teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across operations.

The opportunity

A well-established food packaging business in

Evesham is looking for an experienced

Technical & Quality Manager to join its long-standing team.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering

BRC, quality, HACCP and general site compliance, as well as customer complaints, internal auditing and continuous improvement.

You'll work closely with the Sales Director, Sales team, Warehouse and Box Erection teams, taking ownership of the technical and compliance function and ensuring standards are maintained across the business.

Your responsibilities

Technical & Quality

• Full responsibility for

BRC Storage & Distribution compliance, including preparation for and completion of the annual BRC audit.

• Manage and maintain the company's

Quality Management Systems.

• Complete internal audits and ensure corrective actions are followed through.
• Lead the HACCP team in a non-executive capacity.
• Investigate customer complaints and manage technical queries.
• Support supplier and customer compliance requirements.

Site Compliance

• Keep procedures, records, schedules and compliance documentation accurate and up to date.
• Oversee general site compliance and housekeeping.
• Manage key compliance areas including

forklift licensing, pest control and relevant inspections.

• Ensure the site operates safely, legally and hygienically.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.

Working with the team

• Build strong working relationships across Sales, Warehouse and Box Erection.
• Provide practical technical support and guidance across the business.
• Work collaboratively with an established and experienced team.

About you

We're looking for someone with a solid technical or quality background who is comfortable taking ownership and getting involved across the business.

• Experience in a Technical, Quality or Compliance role within

food packaging, food manufacturing, storage or distribution.

Strong BRC Storage & Distribution experience - this is essential.

• Practical knowledge of

HACCP, internal auditing and Quality Management Systems.

• Experience managing wider site compliance and maintaining accurate procedures and records.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A practical and proactive approach.

Full UK driving licence.

• Someone who enjoys working within an established, long-standing team.

The package

37.5 hours per week
