Job summary

ENABLE Scotland is seeking a Personal Assistant to support adults at Cherrywood service in Scotland. You will help with daily living activities, attend appointments, and participate in community outings to promote independence.

Role requires a manual driving licence, flexibility with early or back shifts, and a commitment to the charity’s values. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering person-centred support and safeguarding within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Manual driving licence required.
• Female applicants only.
• This role includes personal care and moving/handling as part of daily support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to adults with learning disabilities.
• Assist with moving and handling and accompany to appointments, shopping, events, and short breaks.
• Support social activities and help maintain safety, wellbeing and independence of the people we support.

Here at our Cherrywood service, we provide full support to 9 adults to live their lives as independently possible, assisting people out to appointments, for shopping, to shows & events and also short breaks. We also do a lot of in-house activities such as movie nights, baking, arts & crafts, and we have a state-of-the-art sensory room.
