Job summary

Henderson House Care Home, part of BELSIZE HEALTHCARE LIMITED, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to deliver high-quality, clinically led care across day and night shifts. You will assess needs, plan and monitor care, administer medications and lead the care team to ensure safe, person-centred support for residents.

The role offers 33 hours per week, PVG paid, pension and uniform provided, with 5.6 weeks annual leave on a full-time equivalent basis.

• Strong clinical judgement and decision making.
• Confident in leading shifts and supporting a team.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial but others considered.

Job description

Henderson House Care Home is a well established care home in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. With a strong, experienced team and a welcoming, homely atmosphere, this is a service where staff can feel supported, valued and confident in delivering high quality care within a stable and well run environment.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £21.32 per hour


• Contracted to 33 hours per week


• Mixed Shift Pattern covering Dayshift & Nightshift


• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided


• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For
