Job summary

Randstad Education in Swindon is seeking a Qualified Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) for flexible day-to-day classroom cover across local secondary schools. Join a network that values reliability, adaptability and engaging delivery with no long-term commitment.

Create a balanced schedule with mornings in schools from 8:30 to 15:30, enjoy freedom from marking and planning, and receive weekly pay at competitive daily rates (£130-£160). You must have QTS and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various secondary subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure student safety and support during lesson times, keeping them focused and on task.
• Leave detailed feedback for returning subject teachers at the end of the school day.
