Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Qualified Secondary Supply Teacher to join Swindon schools on a flexible day-to-day basis. You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment, with no marking or planning burden.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have strong classroom management, and possess a valid Enhanced DBS. This role offers flexible days and varied school experiences across the Swindon area.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent secondary teaching qualification is essential.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt quickly to new school environments.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various secondary subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Maintain a positive, productive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure student safety and support during lesson times, keeping them focused and on task.
• Leave detailed feedback for returning subject teachers at the end of the school day.
