Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking Store Team Members for the busy Christmas period in Caerphilly, Wales. You will be the face of the store, delivering friendly, efficient service and helping customers find bargains.

Role involves stocking shelves, assisting with stock rotation, tills, and general customer support. Availability from late October to 24 December 2026 is required; evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service.
• Experience in cash handling and working in a retail environment.
• Experience in manual handling and stock replenishment.
• Hardworking, reliable, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and greet customers with a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Assist with stock replenishment, shelf presentation and store cleanliness.
• Operate tills and handle cash transactions; support bakery, cafe, garden centre as needed.
• Be available from 27th October to 24th December 2026 for the Christmas period.

Package

Salary & Hours

• £12.71 per hour (18-20), £13.00 per hour (21+).

16 hours per week. Must be available to work evenings and weekends

This is a fixed term contract ending no later than day Thursday 24 December 2026
