MALE PERSONAL ASSISTANT (PA) VACANCY [JOB SHARE OPTIONAL] - BL8 Bury, Greater Manchester
Are you a kind-hearted man who gets job satisfaction from caring for and supporting others and helping them to achieve? If the answer is yes, then this job could be for you!
I am a sociable, bubbly, friendly and youthful 40-year-old male wheelchair user who generally likes and needs to keep active. I am, therefore, looking for a similarly-natured male PA, ideally around my own age, who is happy and willing to share in my lived-experiences, while delivering the personal care and daily-activity support I require to achieve/fulfil them.
My allocated hours of care and support are 37.5 core hours a week, to be worked Monday to Friday, generally from 09:00 to 16:30, and an average of 7.5 social hours a week, usually to be delivered on the odd occasion I have a socio-recreational activity in the evening and/or at the weekend.
The hourly rate is £14.52 (paid via PAYE) and the holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks a year pro rata, including Bank Holidays. [Both are as set by Bury Adult Social Care.]
No previous experience required; training provided. It is essential that any candidate is a UK citizen/national [I am unable to issue certificates of sponsorship], literate in English, able to work flexibly, a driver [aged 25+, with a valid and clear UK driving licence] and that they do not smoke while on duty.
