Pure Staff Ltd. is recruiting a Trainee AutoCAD Technician in Burton-on-Trent with full training provided to develop a career in technical design and passive fire protection. • Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D drawings and, where required, 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, plans, elevations and construction details.
• Interpret engineering, architectural and technical specifications.
• Amend and update drawings per design changes and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions and document control.
• Ensure drawings meet relevant standards, specifications and company procedures.
• Liaise with engineers, designers, project managers, clients and contractors.
• Check drawings for accuracy, consistency and completeness before issue.
• Assist with preparation of project documentation and technical information.
• Manage multiple drawings and projects while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain organised electronic drawing files and records.
• Support the Technical Team in passive fire protection details using AutoCAD.
• Learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a

Trainee AutoCAD Technician on behalf of our fantastic and long-standing client based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business and develop a career within technical design and passive fire protection, with full training provided for the right candidate.

Your Role as a Trainee AutoCAD Technician

As a

Trainee AutoCAD Technician, your duties will include:

• Producing accurate 2D and, where required, 3D drawings using AutoCAD.

• Checking drawings for accuracy, consistency and completeness before issue.
• Assisting with the preparation of project documentation and technical information.
• Managing multiple drawings and projects while meeting agreed deadlines.
• Maintaining organised electronic drawing files and records.
• Supporting the Technical Team in the development and delivery of technical passive fire protection details using AutoCAD software.
• Learning and developing within a fast-paced working environment.

Requirements

• No previous AutoCAD experience required as training will be provided.

Pay & Shifts

£15.00 - £17.00 per hour depending on experience.

37.5 paid hours per week.

Temporary to Permanent opportunity.

• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• 09:00-17:00
