MadiganGill is currently recruiting an experienced Crane Lift Supervisor to join a major civil engineering project in Bridgwater. Location: Bridgwater

Start Date: 17/09/2026 • Duration: 2 Days • Pay Rate: £30.00 per hour. Role requires CPCS or NPORS with CSCS hologram and proven lifting operation experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS hologram.
• Experience as Crane Lift Supervisor on site.
• Full PPE including hi-vis clothing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations in accordance with the approved lift plan.
• Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in line with current legislation and site procedures.
• Brief and coordinate with crane operators, slinger/signallers, and the site team before each lift.
• Carry out pre-lift checks and ensure lifting equipment is suitable, certified, and fit for purpose.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment defects to site management.
• Maintain clear communication with all personnel involved in lifting activities.
